Class of 1978 40th Reunion Project
Madera Cyber Innovation Center
In honor of our 40th reunion, our class project focuses on support of the Madera Cyber Innovation Center. Cyberspace is the newest frontier for today's warfighter, and the cyber programs at the U.S. Air Force Academy will help cadets prepare for its complex future.
Support of the Cyber project will not only leave a lasting legacy for the Class of '78, but also represent our commitment to duty, honor, our alma mater and our nation.
Your support will fund the new Madera Cyber Innovation Center, its construction, maintenance and programmatic use. This groundbreaking project will support our Academy, our future cyber leaders and our national security.
The Cyber Innovation Facility will:
- Prepare future Air Force warriors to compete in cyber warfare.
- Immerse cadets into collaboration with leading industry, government and academic experts.
- Provide modern laboratories for cadets and faculty with collaborative spaces and equipment to conduct cyber research.
- Expand the capacity of the design studio to allow for up to 10 simultaneous projects.
Our "giving back" journey since graduation has been noteworthy, and now we have the opportunity to become the first class in the USAFA history to raise over $3M in class giving.
In acknowledgement of our collective gifts toward this project, our Class of ’78 will be appropriately recognized inside the Madera Cyber Innovation Center complex. If you have any immediate questions, you may contact the Class of 1978 class gift committee at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
