For the Class of 1993 30th Reunion Class Gift Project, we are supporting the National Character and Leadership Symposium (NCLS). The intent of the Class of ’93 Panel Fund is to support an annual NCLS panel to strategically connect cadets and USAFA to the exceptional airmen across the Air Force, like those chosen to receive the Air Force Association’s (AFA) Outstanding Airmen Award.
The 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year program not only provides a panel speaker experience at NCLS but additionally, provides the Airmen an immersive experience at USAFA. This generous opportunity allows cadets to gain an understanding of the diverse backgrounds and capabilities of Airmen they will be leading in the future. If several Outstanding Airmen are unable to attend to effectively represent a panel, funding may be used by NCLS to provide support for other appropriate speakers for the panel.
Our class goal is to fund the NCLS Panel on a yearly basis in perpetuity. We strive for maximum class participation and our committee members will contact classmates to encourage full support for building the cadet experience through individual donations towards our ’93 NCLS Panel Fund. This is an opportunity for our class to show our support and pride for our alma mater while supporting the future leaders of our nation.
This giving effort will make an impact on every cadet that comes through the Academy. We chose this gift for its wide appeal and significant mission impact. We hope that this project will be a symbol of our class leadership and pride while fostering leadership skills within our future officers.
