Educating about Asian and Pacific cultures through service, activities and sharing cultural customs.

The Air Force Academy Foundation is raising $6,000 for the USAFA Pacific Rim Cadet Club to support its vision and goals of education on Asian and Pacific cultures by providing diverse experiences through community service, cultural activities and the expression of cultural customs. 

Impact of Giving

Money raised through this crowdfunding project will be used for:

• New outfits for the group's hula, Tahitian, and Samoan dance groups
• New equipment and safety gear for the group's Fire Knife Club
• Ukuleles for its ukelele group
• Travel for cultural immersion events and conferences

Club Goals

• Host quarterly working groups to discuss current barriers and ways to overcome them
• Annual Celebration for Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month
• Annual Lei Day event in preparation for the graduating class
• Increase membership each year by 10% and continue to reach out to the base populace for inclusion.
