This year, The USAFA Drum & Bugle Corps needs support with travel expenses, including hotels, meals, and flights to attend a Mardi Gras Parade in New Orleans. If you have ever sung along with them at halftime or stood when they played the anthem at a game, consider donating and supporting the cadets who support the entire cadet wing! Thank you!
Background
The USAFA Drum & Bugle Corps has supported cadet events since 1971, including football, basketball, volleyball, hockey, Noon Meal Formation, and more. Not only does D&B support the cadet wing, but they provide outreach across the globe. D&B has traveled to Canada, Ireland, and New Orleans, among other places, marching to represent USAFA. These cadets are scholars, athletes, and leaders.
The mission of the U.S. Air Force Academy Drum and Bugle Corps is to represent the Academy via musical support of the Cadet Wing and Athletic Department while providing a positive image and improving esprit de corps by developing future Air Force officers.
Club Accomplishments
The Corps has represented the Academy at presidential inaugurations, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day, Tournament of Roses, Mardi Gras Parades, Special Olympics Opening Ceremonies, and many athletic championship games. In addition, the Corps recently traveled to Colorado ski resorts and Ireland to perform at various functions while spreading the spirit of the Long Blue Line. The Corps travels thousands of miles yearly performing at Academy home and away athletic events.
