From retirement ceremonies, to firing parties, to Reveille and Retreat, the United States Air Force Academy Cadet Honor Guard executes many important details behind the scenes for the Cadet Wing and other military members alike. Now it is time for the Cadet Honor Guard to step back into the spotlight. The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is the largest and most famous parade in the United States. Before the team received setbacks in its funding, the Cadet Honor Guard’s performance at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade was a staple event and an excellent opportunity to show America what the United States Air Force Academy is all about. The Cadet Honor Guard would like the opportunity to once again showcase their outstanding drill, perfect timing, and military discipline on this national stage while representing the Air Force Academy, the Long Blue Line, and our nation’s military with Pride, Respect, and Dignity.

The lesson that teaches them that to honor others, they must always strive for perfection.
The lesson that encourages them to hold their teammates accountable to the standard so they may improve each other continuously.
